Chicken with Garlic Glaze
Ingredients
3 chicken Breasts
salt + pepper
1/4 cup flour
4 tbsp butter
4 - 5 cloves of garlic, minced
1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
1 tbsp soy sauce
1-1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
chives (optional as garnish)
Steps
Dice cut one side of the chicken breast (don't cut all the way through)
salt and pepper
heat pan to medium high / high-low
coat chicken in flour as pans heats up
melt 3 of the 4 tbsp butter on medium high heat
place in pan of hot melted butter
cook 3 minutes uncut side down
turn and cook 3 minutes on diced side
turn heat down to medium
flip again
put in last tbsp of butter
add garlic and stir
add honey or maple syrup, soy sauce and apple cider vinegar
bring sauce to simmer and finish cooking (the sauce will turn to a glaze)
